Initially, Old Madam Li had set her eyes on this item, but the previous Madam Lin, out of attachment to it as a gift from the late Old Madam, hesitated to part with it, causing Old Madam Li some underlying dissatisfaction. 

Upon learning this from Fang Mama, Ouyang Nuan's first action was to send this exquisite embroidered piece over. In her view, while objects were static, relationships were dynamic; to counter Madam Lin, it was imperative to win over her grandmother. 

Now, with Old Madam Li showing such warmth and favor towards her, there was undoubtedly a significant reason behind it.
