"Grandmother?" Lin Yunwan and Qi Lingheng returned to the Lin family's main residence together, only to find Lin Grandma waiting for them there.

Lin Yunwan went forward and bowed respectfully. 

"You are already a royal consort," Old Madam Lin said, rising to her feet and helping Lin Yunwan up. According to etiquette, she shouldn't accept the bow from a royal consort. Qi Lingheng only nodded politely in acknowledgment.

Lin Huabin, standing nearby, felt quite uncomfortable. After all, he was supposed to be the father-in-law of the prince!

"Please, take a seat," Old Madam Lin said to both of them. "Your... younger sister is arriving soon."

Lin Yunwan wanted to inquire further about Madam's condition, but Old Madam Lin reassured her, "It's not a serious illness. You don't need to worry about it or attend to her."

Qi Lingheng remained impassive, offering no response.

He and the womenfolk didn't exchange words.

Old Madam Lin announced that she was leaving. 

"I'll escort you," Lin Yunwan offered.

If she was going, could Qi Lingheng just sit here? He stood up and said gently, "I'll accompany you as well."

"Your Highness..." Lin Huabin was a bit anxious. He hadn't had a chance to talk to his son-in-law yet, why was he in such a hurry to leave?
